The choice of import transport method (by train, truck, plane, or ship) depends on the distance between the origin and destination, the dimensions of the cargo, the desired delivery time, and the cost.
Some goods can only be transported by a specific mode of transport, which affects the final choice of route and the cost of the operation.
Upon request, we can help you calculate the cost of delivery from China and other countries.
Please note that the speed of customs clearance will depend on the accuracy of the accompanying documents.
It is advisable to obtain licenses and certificates for the goods in advance if you plan to sell them in Russia.
- Certificate of Conformity: This document confirms that the goods meet quality and safety standards. It is mandatory for toys, pyrotechnics, vehicles, food products, cosmetics, and medical products. A complete list of product types requiring certification is provided in Russian Government Resolution No. 982 as of December 1, 2009.
- Transport Documents: These documents specify the quantity, quality, and technical specifications of the goods.
Before purchasing, also check that your goods do not fall under the category of dual-use goods. These require a document from the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC). A list of such goods is available on the organization's website.
